On Sunday, May 21, 2023, Father Angelo Pappas celebrated the Sacraments of Chrismation and Baptism for our newest Orthodox Christians at Prophet Elias. Jose Mendoza was chrismated and given the Orthodox name of Iosif by his sponsor Angelo Karampelas. Summer Haworth was first baptized then chrismated and given the Orthodox name of Kyriaki by her sponsor Joanna Stebbins. Both Iosif and Kyriaki received their first Holy Communion. Many parishioners attended and chanters Dr. Nick Itsines and Lara Willingham led the congregation in hymns and petitions. A blessed day! Amin!
