Father Angelo Pappas Celebrates With Us

On Sunday, September 11, 2022, we welcomed Father Angelo Pappas who celebrated services at Prophet Elias. He and his Presvytera Mary are visiting from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and staying with their daughter, son-in-law, and 6-month old grandson. Father Angelo’s message included a story about a young man and the judge, which carried a strong message about our own salvation. He also served a memorial for the thousands lost during the September 11, 2001 attacks. The congregation chanted the responses. Our Fellowship was upstairs where we greeted each other and discovered how many people were affiliated with the University of Maryland. All Turps! We hope to host Father Angelo and Presvytera Mary again very soon.  Amin!
