On June 5, 2022, the Sunday before Pentecost and the Sunday of the First Ecumenical Council, Rev. Father Florin Lapustea celebrated Divine services at Prophet Elias. He serves at Holy Cross Church (OCA-Romanian Episcopate) in San Jose. His spouse Madalina also attended. Father Florin’s message inspired us to think differently about happiness versus joy. Joy is when we have union with God. After the Divine Liturgy and during Fellowship, our parishioners greeted and shared refreshments with Father and Madalina more personally. It was a lovely day!
