STEPS BEYOND HEALING

Father Meletios, who served for nine years as the full-time parish priest at Prophet Elias, sends his greetings to all who remember him as Father Mel or more formally as Archimandrite Meletios Webber.

He has written another book titled: Steps beyond Suffering. (see Special Announcements) However, he published this new book under his secular name, Peter Webber, to reach a wider audience. He wrote from the point of view of a psychotherapist and as an AA member, qualified by education and experience. He plans five more books to be co-written with Lucien Hart.

He is the rector at the thriving St. Nicholas of Myra parish in downtown Amsterdam. His Orthodox Christian community in the Russian liturgical and spiritual tradition left the Moscow Patriarchate at the beginning of the Ukraine war. Now, the parish has been received into the Exarchate of the Benelux of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. His diocesan bishop is Metropolitan Athenagoras of Belgium. Many young people are coming to his church, keeping him busy.

Father Mel has no plans to visit America at this time, but does visit his sister and his brother Alan, who is suffering with cancer, in England.
