Father Milutin’s Farewell Liturgy

Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church > News & Events > Church News > Father Milutin’s Farewell Liturgy

On Sunday, June 30, 2024, Father Milutin celebrated the Orthros and Divine Liturgy accompanied by Deacon Fr. Livingston of Saints Peter and Paul in Ben Lomond. Our congregation gathered and chanted together for a joyful morning. Father Milutin delivered his message and during Fellowship offered words of encouragement. We will be waiting for a while for a priest he said. He isn’t our parish priest anymore, but he considers us his friends and often refers to us in his writings and speeches in Sweden. How special are we? His 10-days in Santa Cruz have been a true whirlwind of the best kind. Father Milutin indicated he hopes to return with his whole family in 2025. We pray for their safe travel back to Prophet Elias. Amin!
