On Sunday, January 25, 2026, our St. Katherine Philoptochos held its annual vasilopita auction. Father Angelo blessed the loaves and cut the large loaf baked by Christine Thorne in the church. Father cut and distributed the pieces, as is customary, the first slice for our Lord. Afterward, all in the congregation adjourned for coffee hour in the hall. The remainder of the loaf was in the basket for parishioners to select their piece. Congratulations to Presvytera Mary Pappas who discovered the “coin” in her slice.
