On Sunday, February 12, 2023, our Prophet Elias community gathered to remember Father John and Presvytera Anastasia Karastamatis. Father Aris Metrakos served the Divine Liturgy and Memorial Service followed by a luncheon. Father John Takahashi was also in attendance. Daughter Maria Kosmides and Son Foti Karastamatis and their families prepared the luncheon for all. Father Milutin joined via Zoom from Sweden to greet everyone. During the luncheon, Maria and Foti unveiled a beautiful bronze plaque of their mother, Presvytera Anastasia, which will be mounted next to Father John’s plaque. It was a wonderfully blessed Sunday!
